The Fire of Youth

oung people are engines that drive the human machine. "They are as alive as a fire. If you complement the flame of the youth with a sense of focus and urgency, you have the power to move worlds." The Lubavitcher Rebbe recognised that there was a prevailing ignorance about higher spiritual values among young people. He established Lubavitch Youth Organizations, with branches around the world encouraging his students to share their spritual experiences and other tools of education with the youth of other communities. The call of the Rebbe is for young people to recognise the power they possess and be encouraged to use that power for the good.
70% to 80% of the people in that room were young people...
That a man of eighty years should be able to command the attention of so many young people coming from different backgrounds and bring them to such a height of energy, is a sure sign there is a future.
