Our Staff …

Our Counselors are hand-picked for their responsibility, creativity, dedication to Judaism and great fun! They provide warmth and care to each child as an individual.  

Our Directors, Rabbi Daniel Walker and Mrs Louise Weinberg have years of experience in running safe and enjoyable camps, and are well known for their inspiring Jewish programs.  

Activities
Our program offers every camper the opportunity to choose, and to excel.
Campers elect to join the activity they prefer. In past years, we have hosted Sci tech, Woodshop, Creative Crafts, TaeKwonDo, Tennis, Acrobatics and Ceramics.
In addition, we offer a full range of super diverse activities and sports that include: Swimming, ballplay, Shabbos parties, Challah baking, and more throughout the day. We instill in your child a spirit of sportsmanship, self-confidence, leadership and creativity.

Safety
Your child's wellbeing is our foremost concern. Counselors are trained in First Aid and CPR, and are supplemented by lifeguards during swimming. All allergies and other conditions are carefully monitored and cared for.

Culture
Gan Israel campers are imbued with a deep sense of pride in their Jewish Heritage and love and respect for their fellow. Weekly Judaic themes are taught through exciting activities, stories, games and contests that are part of the unique Gan Israel experience. Combined with discussions and educational programs, these events bring to life the beauty and values of our tradition.

On the Go
Trip Days is the time to bring out the Gan Israel spirit! In the past, we've visited attractions such as Alton Towers, Jodrel Bank Observatory, Manchester Airport, Stockly farm, Manchester united Football grounds. We have been camping under canvas, hiking, and much more!
